Collection: Cornish Cobble

I am delighted to introduce a bespoke collection which is totally exclusive to Kernow Queen.  For a long time I have been wanting to design my own fabrics and am proud to now be marketing my very own 'Cornish Cobble' Collection.

I have three designs in this collection with a range of colour ways to choose from.  Being firmly rooted in Cornwall, which is also my birth place, and living close to both the North and South Coast, I was inspired to create a coastal collection. The three designs also come in two sizes, with a bigger print being used for the cushions.  Although the three designs are from the same original watercolour painting, the arrangement of the pebbles differ on each to give more choice. The design names are 'The St Ives Stack', 'Prussia Cove' and 'Pebble Roll'.

The collection is digitally printed in the United Kingdom on to a high quality 100% Organic Half Panama Cotton.  The fabric is of a heavy weave with the fibres bleached using organic dyes. Care instructions recommended - a 30 degrees delicate machine wash with a delicate tumble on a low heat or drip dry.  Ironing on the reverse is also advisable.  An environmentally friendly textile with the colour pigments used, water based.

I would like to thank my niece Madeline for her technical expertise in this venture.  She has been a tremendous help regarding editing and arrangement for final printing.  Madeline is an Under-Graduate studying Design Engineering at Bournemouth University.

As well as making the cushions and lampshades, I will soon be offering fabric by the metre.
